Sarah Milne began her musical career when she was seven and was told she couldn't play the violin because the school needed Viola players and she was tall enough. Despite the rocky start she now loves the Viola and has never looked back.

Sarah has studied at the Conservatorium and is currently in her final year of music at QUT. She was a member of the Queensland Youth Symphony conducted by John Curro for three years where she toured Italy, Germany and Austria.

Outside of deep blue, Sarah enjoys teaching Viola and Violin and playing lots of 80s rock with her sisters in their string trio.
